Who We Are

KRD Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Credit Unions were founded on the idea that through a cooperative financial effort, individuals sharing common bonds could benefit. Credit Unions promote thrift, and income is passed along to its members in the form of higher dividends on savings accounts, lower interest on loans, or new and improved services.

KRD Federal Credit Union was established in 1949. Our credit union is Federally chartered and federally insured to $250,000.00 by the NCUA.

Our field of membership is based on employee groups and family members. Following is a list of our employee groups and church affiliates.

1. Civilian employees of the United State Government who work in or have headquarters in McCook, NE

2. Employees of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in Grand Island, Ord and McCook

3. Employees of McCook Community College who work in McCook
